Kagoshima's 2 sample-tree stations bloom more than 45 days apart, so they are listed separately rather than averaged into one date — the headline dates above are for Kagoshima. Kagoshima city grows Yoshino cherry (late March); Amami grows Kanhi-zakura, which flowers in January.
